The RTM event is a family festival that includes hiking, running, and mountain biking challenges, on some of Kimberley, BC's unique single track. Come for the races, stay for the kids activities, music, food, and a beer garden.

​

Hosted by the Kimberley Trails Society, Kootenay Orienteering Club, and the Kootenay Freewheelers' Cycling Club.

 

All races finish at the Nordic Centre so there will be lots of action to check out!

• 4:00-7:00 PM Registration Centre is open at Kimberley Platzl Gazebo 

21-June Saturday - 2025 Times TBC

• 6:00 AM Registration Centre Opens

• 7:00 AM Free Shuttle Bus from the Ski Hill Parking Lot (South end) - shuttle runs every 20-30 minutes

• 7:00 AM 20K Trek Start

• 8:30 AM 10K Run Start

• 10:00 AM 20K Bike Start

• 10:30 AM - 1:45 PM Kids Check In

• 10:30 AM Kid Zone opens​

• 10:45 AM 20K Run Start

• 11:00 AM

FREE Bike Friendly Bus Shuttle by

• Shuttle between the Ski Hill parking lot and the RTM Festival at the Nordic Centre.  Shuttle runs every 20-30 minutes

Getting Here

From Radium Hot Springs, Invermere, Fairmont Hot Springs:

From the North take Highway 95a into Kimberley. At the traffic lights go straight and follow the road for the next 3km up the hill. Go straight past the Alpine Resort entrance. At the next intersection stay left and follow the road for the next few hundred meters up to the Kimberley Nordic Centre.

From USA, Creston, Fernie, Cranbrook, Marysville:
